Can yourself and Basso please call our shop tomorrow morning 262-800-9114 ? Both rifles are ready to go and we are hand selecting from the batch. Sorry for the delay, there's been a tragedy with our paint person and he's now retired. We were able to complete the batch fortunately.

I wasn't sure so I didn't assume that, but if that's the case that's a hell of a wait. I'm sure Lee Armory will take that into account when sending out the correct rifle this time.

The AK arrived at my FFL on June 8 but I haven't had the time to pick it up until last night. The wait was long from the time I ordered until the time the FFL received it and was told it was because they were building the black AK's but still received the wooden one. Same with the other guy who ordered one who had it sent to the same FFL, he paid for a black one but got wood but he hasn't picked his up yet. I'm sure they will fix it though and I'll report back here with an update when I have some news.

While long yes,April to 1st week of June isn't completely horrendous, the extra 2 Months later into almost September is because your time constraints..a credit to the Armory taking care of it within that timeframe, a definite minus to the Armory sending out cheaper one after you paid Hundreds extra AND waited
AllIn all for the timing, not really as bad as it seems to someone reading this thread when you get to the last "louie" post and read it's been sitting for 2 months waiting for him lol.

I agree that it sat there for a while because of my crazy schedule but it doesn't change the fact that the wooden ones shipped out months before the black ones were supposed to be shipped out and I basically had to remind them regularly that I'm waiting, only to get the wooden one. Also I ordered the rifle in February and it arrived in June. That's a long wait for the wrong rifle.
