We know a couple, early 30's two kids. Still have student loans and no retirement and they have a perfectly decent house but have massive house buying fever and are desperately trying to upgrade. They drive a newly-leased SUV from last year and also last year bought a late model used other suv. spend, spend, spend

Inflation is absolutely up. There is debate as to whether that's temporary. If it does stay up it's going to--as it always historically does--hurt the middle and lower classes the most. So while they beg like hungry birds for these stimmies and tax credits, inflation is going to hurt them.

There is NO language from this government asserting that people have any ability to help themselves. They are always the victim.

They're paying for the present with the future of hard working Americans, essentially. That's what inflation is.

It is up to us to hold these fucks accountable and start doing our job as The People. We are the largest branch of government, after all.

I could take that money out as a draw and buy a new car. I'm not. I'm not blind to the fuckery going on right now. It's not my money to spend. It's security.

Yes but only some of it. You get the rest in your 2021 tax return.
