Looking at the truck and seeing it's been "modified", I'm wondering what exactly happened to cause it to go out of control or legally known as "Sudden Unintended Acceleration".
When I was much younger, I had a vehicle that has a sticky throttle and sometimes wouldn't return all the way back down unless I fiddled with the pedal. One day it got stuck half way and I kept speeding up, so I simply turned the key to off and pulled over to the side of the road to get it unstuck.
Honking your horn and yelling isn't going to do anything, just switch it off... could've saved a life.

I don’t have an issue with how it was reported because they listed his arrests and one of them is carrying a firearm at a parade. Yes the law is stupid and didn’t cause the kids death, but the charge is there.

Keep your power brakes and steering. Let the rev limiter do it's job.
OFC all my vehicles are manual, so you just brake normally, and notice that the engine races instead of idling down while you do it.
I had an old Jeep that had a sticky throttle like that. It would clear up if we drove it for a bit, but then it'd sit for a few weeks and stick again.
I could have rebuilt the throttle body, but I had better things to do, so I just added a second return spring at the throttle body.
The gas pedal was real heavy after that, but it never stuck

They are again trying to breakdown the family. Thanksgiving is all about family and food and not spending money like crapmas is. Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday and it pisses me off they are trying to erase it becuase it’s not profitable and centers around family.

hell i had 71 duster auto trans .. drop her in reverse at 20 mph once .. missed neutral .. it was a ride but stopped at the red light ..
park works too but takes a bit longer lol
