I better put that set of BUIS on my rifle.

I've been wondering about that. I've researched it online and from what I can tell it's 50/50 on whether an EMP will damage a red dot optic.

I'm considering getting another red dot optic to keep in an EMP bag.

But this isn't one.

We don't get to pick And choose who hates us and our country or way of life. We don't get to control if our politicians are psychotic with blood lust and go pick a fight either.

Exactly. We cannot unplug from the worl because other power hungry nations would jump in to fill the void and we would yhen be a weaker target. In a world full of good and evil we are either the big kid on the block or the little kid getting picked on. That doesnt mean we have to be the bullies, but we have to stay beingvthe big kidvthat the bullies dont want to mess with.

Check out what this thread says. It mirrors what you were saying in regards to small electronics and vehicles. I think red dots will be safe.

Hell with china and russia, its the north koreans that scare the hell out of me with their accidental copy of Russian technology.

A lot of people dont think they can lob one at us, but they can, and our warning system is designed yo watch for "over the pole" shots from russia, not from the south by NK.
