Anyone ever train with him? I hope to get a chance to one of these days.

I tend to watch a good amount of youtube videos of different trainers to get ideas or insight that i can practice on my own.

I had an interesting conversation with a dude when I was in one of Scott Ballard's classes (brilliant instructor, highly recommended) at Sig a couple weeks ago. He said he went to a class from James Yeager and tactical response in PA. He said the assistant instructors didn't give a shit, the class was poorly instructed, and the students were unsafe & didn't really belong in the class, which led me to a realization:

Top tier, famous instructors (Chris Costa, Larry Vickers, Travis Halley, etc...) should only be seen on their home turf. Otherwise, every yuppy who watches YouTube & knows their name will sign up & drag the class down just because they want to say they took a class from the instructor & he is near them.

Just my thoughts... I'd love to be proven wrong though.
