Fredo does look strong, he's got some arms on him and is in shape.
A strong(er) guy has a better chance of getting himself out of a ground and pound situation.
So it's important to inflict damage quickly to negate that strength.
Once someone starts feeling pain or gets scared they will almost always try to roll on their stomach.
I found that it is best to let them do that, now you got their neck from behind.
It's easier to choke someone out than it is to beat someone out.
That, and you are also less likely to be facing serious charges if you don't break facial bones.
Back in my day it wasn't so bad as far as being charged with something but if you really fucked a dude up bad
you would be in court... So that was something to consider.
These days I don't think it matters either way with the laws being so strict and the penalties so severe.
When I was in my teens and 20's it wasn't that bad as long as you only did what needed to be done and no more than that.
Plus IMO people were not such pussies back then and pressing charges was just further embarrassment.
I have been on that end myself. I have never pressed charges when I got hurt.
Times have change though.
I guess why I keep going on about fighting is the fact that someone who is used to it.
And has learned through experience what works or what doesn't work and has developed a violent mindset has a big advantage over someone who has not.
And that person would be someone like Fredo IMO
He does not impress me in the least no matter how loud he gets.
Pro Tip... Avoid a fight if you do not have someone you trust watching your back.
