All of this is plausible except for the hamburger part, that is bullshit.Well.....
Kim says he, his father and grandfather do not deficate....ever.
He says his father invented the hamburger.
He says he learned to drive a car ay 3yrs old and a fighter jet by 4.
He says Japan stole time from them, then forced everyone in his country to set their clocks back 1/2 hour.
It is an actual law in NK to praise Kim Jong and call him god.
And, because he is a god, he has assured his county men that he alone will protect them from the USA.
Annnnd, he says he will never die.
Its all in his autobiography.
Sounds a bit crazy too me.
Yeah if an EMP really did that it would be super bad (awesome for a week or so and then get bad). I just don't believe NK could do that; we're not that vulnerable to an EMP without multiple launches focused more specifically than a single explosion somewhere over the country. An EMP if it affected the majority of the country, the country itself would be obliterated. Electricity runs refineries. Without refineries, where will the fuel come from? Who would pick the crops? Even if farmers somehow farmed by hand, how would the food get delivered? The trucks themselves wouldn't work because they'd be fried even if fuel was stockpiled. There would be massive hunger. Hunger would lead to crime and riots. With crime and riots, nobody would go to work to build trucks that work. Even if they did, how will the factories that build trucks do so without electricity? How will they even get to work if they wanted to?
2/3's of the population would die from no meds, no heat, food, ect. The 1/3rd that's left wouldn't be able to do anything as far as rebuilding factories. They'd be the bumpkins without engineering degrees that lived in the country.
Many don't realize the dependency we have on electricity. The only way to get out of it would be for another country to step in.
True. It would have to affect almost the whole nation.Yeah if an EMP really did that it would be super bad (awesome for a week or so and then get bad). I just don't believe NK could do that; we're not that vulnerable to an EMP without multiple launches focused more specifically than a single explosion somewhere over the country.
We did try to negotiate with them, spent decades doing that.We need to get away from the idea, they are too crazy to negotiate with and the only solution is another war, which we are going to lose. We don't need to admit anything, just back off on propaganda and demonization and double down on diplomacy.
And Japan denounced the detonation saying it is unacceptable.
Whew!!! We might not have known that.
At least Japan took a tough stance.
Interesting timing that the government chooses to run this drill now
“Black Sky Event” : Feds Preparing For Widespread Power Outages Across U.S. That Would “Bring Society To Its Knees”
I have a hard time believing that the CIA or South Korea's version of the CIA doesn't have a boot on the ground next to him that can assassinate him or at least tell us where he is.It made no sense to me at first , why would they bother ? he had only a few smaller atomic bombs which would be very limited to small areas if at all, And he would have required a lot of them . But now, it looks like they knew this all along or knew that it was only a very short time before he got the big one.
Now, I don't know if the US will fight . The consequences could be catastrophic.

And yet you lived and made it juuuust fineI am going out of town on vacation to the Carolinas in a week and I've been quite unsettled about being so far away from home and my stuff. :/
And yet you lived and made it juuuust fine
I did that one 2 years ago..the ole drive to Florida. National Lampoon style.Yea...it was touch and go for a while.
I was locked in a car with my kids on a road trip.
We did try to negotiate with them, spent decades doing that.
Kim made out very well in those negotiations. He got nukes, money, ICBMs, reactors, all sorts of stuff. Us, not so much.
So, after decades of appeasement, you'll excuse me if I think it isn't a great idea to continue.
