I love Supreme Court Judge Thomas. He is spot on with 90% of what he says. He is about protecting the Constitution, the legacy of our founding fathers, and that the purpose and fundamentals of what made this country are protected.

Scalia was awesome too. Made me proud to be Italian, lol. Judge Thomas is right too, in that most people under 45 are useless, and inherently brain dead from a society, that lately, only caters to the lowest denominator.

When i bought my first single family, i was the youngest homeowner on the block at that time, at 27 years old. Meanwhile, it was NOT even my first home, lol. I bought my first home, a 3 family, when i was 23, and continued buying multi families one a year for many years. Anyway, i was living in my home at 27 years old, and there was 30 something year olds on the block that were still living with their parents. In fact, there were parents, still living in their parents houses, helping raise the grandkids that adult people could not take care of themselves.

I was a history buff at a very young age. I am often called the "walking history book" by friends and family. Most people under 50 cannot even tell you when the Civil war took place, or details about our own Revolutionary war, forget about the French and Indian war, people will look at you like you have 7 heads when you mention that war.

I just literally replaced my kitchen cabinets in one of my rental units that i am also temporarily staying in for an extended amount of time. In fact i finished the kitchen today, from working the end of the week and thru this weekend. I did all the work myself, as i have always done in all my homes, although i am no longer in my 20s, can you say 3 years away from 50, wow. Anyway my neighbors, who many are grown men themselves, were shocked that i could install my own cabinets, flooring, tile my own backsplash, put in my counter tops, and cut out and hooked up my own sink and plumbing.

They literally couldnt believe i could do all that "myself". Meanwhile its nothing even worthy of acknowledgement. The "issue" is, nobody from 40 down can put together their 4 year olds tri-cycle without 5 Youtube videos, and eventually hire someone for the "hard parts". We are doomed as a nation, or even species, as this trend is only getting worse.

When i was younger i felt like we were surrounded by learned men, those that knew how to work with their hands, or recall history, and be a wealth of information. People like my Grandfather, who was part of that "greatest generation". They were around when i was younger and growing up. There was a sense of greatness in this country. A sense of worth, and those you could look up to, or emulate, and if lucky try to live up to their greatness. Sadly that generation is nearly gone. The "baby boomer" generation, that my parents are part of, and has replaced the "greatest generation", while still better than anything after, will never live up to the generation before. The baby boomers are a good amount of "products of the 60s", and not the "saviors of civilization" that the "greatest generation" was.

After the "baby boomers" its pretty much a degeneration of society. Generation "X", which i am part of, Gen "Y", millenials, and whatever they are calling the next in line, are sadly all not even close to living up too what some of us remember fondly as being the "greatest generation". Much that was, is now gone, and sadly few alive now remember.

Now their goal is to protect their child from the world as much as possible.

That and the fact that instead of actually parenting, parents just give their toddlers smart phones and tablets and these devices are "raising" them and serving as daycare providers, teachers, and baby sitters all day. All of this as their undeveloped brains fry before they can even finish growing.
I also see old people using social media sites just as much as teenage girls would these days. It's definitely not just younger folks, not even close. This is a stupid people crisis, and it's not going away anytime soon.

Oh, social media appeals to everyone.

But the older people aren't likely to build their identity around it.

Grandma likes her Tiktoc and Facebook, but she isn't going to measure her self worth in likes and followers.

Social media is a fine thing if you're grounded in reality and just visit. It's the people who make it their whole lives that are in real trouble.

One day last year I realized I couldnt find my cell phone.
I sort of looked around but it seemed to be gone.
The next day a friend of mine called the land line to tell me I had left my phone at their house........4 days ago.
We also STILL do not have a computer at our house.
I go days, even weeks without looking at a computer, phone, laptop or notebook.
I seriously only watch youtube or another steaming place for all my information.

And for all of that, he decides to write a complicated and confusing ruling for people who can't even understand a simple statement as "shall not be infringed".
And, as we can already see, those ignorant and illiterate fools are already trying to twist his words around to justify their tyranny.
Why couldn't he write something clear and concise like "The 2nd Amendment IS a Right, and all of these gun laws, and future gun laws, are null and void".

Add that to the child led parenting style and you have a disaster. That child led parenting style was lushed on us by multiple experts saying my kid had issues and he could be disciplined and he didn’t understand right from wrong, guess what he sure as hell does and he’s 15.5. He will tell us so and so is trouble or I stay away from them because this it that. He understands and these were experts??
