So the pressure switch itself is your cable management system. The sides that’s screw on have channels on the inner sides of them. You can also run the cable underneath the section where the screws are, but the cable runs through the picatinny sections of the rail. The other part of it is the rear tailcap can be rotated in 90 degree increments so you can clock it and have the cable come out of the light itself at a different angle. You can usually tighten that rear metal housing that houses the rear push-button so you can get the cable to come out closer/tucked tighter to the rail. Here’s an example of how I ran a cable on one of my setups. It’s a little tricky to try and explain through text. People sometimes get frustrated their first time doing it. Just take your time figuring out which way will tuck the cable the best and you’ll get it.
I agree that the OWL has no cables and is the most robust weapon light out there right now. But also it doesn’t have as much output or as much modularity. This won’t work with any other switches, and as soon as Cloud releases their new switches, it’ll even be more of a reason to choose the Rein or Cloud in general over its competitors like Modlite. You can’t change the location of the switch in relationship to the light. There are no aftermarket mounts to choose from with the OWL. With the OWL, you get what you get and that’s it. It only mounts to a pic rail. No other options. Though I do believe Cloud is working in an updates OWL, not that it would change much of the “all-in-one” kind of OWL situation. If they all of a sudden made it modular, it won’t be as robust anymore, and wouldn’t really be what the OWL is now. It would just be another light that they have…the REIN 1.0.Cable mangement!

I have a decent amount of Cloud lights including two 3.0’s. I can tell you that my 3.0’s outperform my Modlite OKW. They have a little more spill and more throw than my OKW.
