The Cloward–Piven strategy is a political strategy outlined in 1966 by Americansociologists and political activists Richard Cloward and Frances Fox Piven that called for overloading the U.S. public welfare system in order to precipitate a crisis that would lead to a replacement of the welfare system with a national system of "a guaranteed annual income and thus an end to poverty".

There are always many ways to look at a problem.

Here is another angle, since the 1965 Hart-Celler Immigration Act which has now imported 50 million mostly poverty-stricken have nots, Marxists and country club Republicans have made out well at the expense of the exploited working class Americans and new immigrants.

Then with this large amount of added population, if we returned to an era without safety nets and mass poverty like in the pre-1930s there would be armed conflicts between the government and protesters ensuring chaos.

Therefore the US taxpayer is held hostage by the have-nots and the greedy plutocrats exploiting the have-nots, making all the taxpayers keep giving more and more generous welfare benefits to maintain their order.

All such policies become progressively worse by their nature more so than by actual design.

It's a similar strategy the bolsheviks advocated in russia. They wanted the war to go badly with all the misery it entailed so the population would be ready to accept their revolutionary ideas.

I read a great quote years ago but I can't remember the source. It described the communists as people willing to destroy 90% of humanity to make the remaining 10% 'happy.' Ideological purity is everything and everyone is expendable on the way to the socialist utopia. These are scary people.
