Hey guys I just wanted to know if this is legal in NY since NY want to make up their own laws and make us jump through hoops. Also this shotgun seems hard to find available.

Which is to say, I see no reason it wouldn't be legal.

I imagine it would be prohibitively expensive if you could find one, and as a practical matter seems fairly useless.

No. It’s got a short barrel and a stock. Your only cool options are the short barreled shotgun that isn’t a shotgun because it has no stock (you can add a brace) and the AR that is not a pistol because it’s over 26 inches long and not a rifle because it has no stock but rather a brace and a foregrip.

Just know that the latter could be interpreted to be an AR pistol since it’s the exact same thing as an assault pistol in our laws.

My opinion. Get the shotgun. Mossberg Shockwave. You can even get it to be magazine fed.

Shockwave plus brace is likely no go at this point per ATF. We were discussing this in the other "sketchy stuff" thread. Pretty sure current is ATF says dont put a brace on a Shockwave.

Brace is OK, just can't count it toward your 26" requirement.

But if the gun is legal without the brace, it's legal with it.

I dunno. If it cycles reliably I'll take a tube full of mini shells over ejecting and reloading two, most any day of the week.

Yea the zombie may not survive but what if there are 3 4 or even 5 of them
