So in a recap ... it looks like the homeowner (actually an apartment) uses a shotgun to shoot a home invader. The homeowner is not charged for shooting the home invader, but according to news reports the homeowner is charged with child endangerment because the home invader was somewhere between the homeowner and the homeowner's baby's bedroom when the shot was fired, even though the baby was at a theoretical but in this instance an inconsequential risk from the gunfire. From the info available I am not comfortable with that charge. Thank God we can get insurance to keep an over zealous anti second amendment state from inappropriately and totally destroying a victim's life. Wait a minute ... ah $h!t ... I forgot FUAC saved us from that evil insurance.
