Colorado District Forced to Cancel Classes After Nearly 1,500 Teachers Call In Sick to Protest Recently Elected Conservative School Board​


Douglas County schools in Colorado were shut down on Thursday after nearly 1,500 teachers called in sick to protest the recently elected conservative school board.​

The party that claims to be all about Democracy is now trying to overthrow the will of the voters.


The teachers took the day off to protest outside the school board building over the newly-elected conservatives voting to end the district’s mask mandate, amend the district’s equity policy and is ask the superintendent to quit or be fired.

So they called in sick to protest outside? This has to be a violation. Also they are afraid politics is entering the classroom so are they against liberal policies and tactics entering the classroom or do they protest this as well? Fucking hypocrites.

Teachers are like all professionals.

There are some great ones, most are just mediocre and just want their paycheck.

Then there are the ones who shouldn't be allowed anywhere near a child.

Seems like the last group always end up in the leadership role, because the first group is too busy teaching, the second group doesn't want the responsibility, so the worst of the bunch get it by default.

These mental midgets have been "sold", by unions, to tax-payers, as repositories of a wealth of knowledge who care about your children.

That's a total fabrication...

Most are double-digit room temp Celsius IQ graduates of an "education curriculum" at sub-standard schools.

And please, let's not hear how they have a "Masters" degree in "education", and some have a "doctorate in education". Those lightweight degree programs are just further brainwashing.

"Education" in bush schools in Kenya is more thorough - I visited many.

Pro Tip - the average Kenyan high school graduate is fluent in 3 language - tribal, Swahili and English. Many, like my 2nd ex were also fluent in French. My Swahili teacher was fluent in French, German, English, his tribal language, Swahili, Kikuyu, Luo and, IIRC, a Kalenjin dialect.

The average 4th grader of 100 years ago was far more skilled in reading, writing, math, history, and even science than most high school graduates today.

Yet the inflation adjusted budget for their entire school was probably less than a modern superintendents salary.
