I think this is a very cool piece and I feel fortunate to own it even if it is beat up. Colt National Match with mags. This is another one that will be passed to my son.

Running C170954 through Colt's Serial Number Lookup. it says that's a Government Model made in 1933
That first magazine is a "two tone" and worth a buck and a half by itself! The others may be vintage, but that first one is worth some bucks.
super nice, wouldn't mind owning it myself!

Very nice pistol. That 2-tone mag might be correct for that 1933 pistol. From an old 1911 thread on this subject:


By “marked” he means “Colt 45 Auto” stamped on base plate.

I have the 1970’s version of that NM and it’d probably be the last one I’d sell.

The two tone is stamped Colt 45 Auto. 4 of the others are have letters stamped.
