Well, pulled the trigger and ordered the MDT Baker wings.

It finally shipped!!! I should have my new barreled receiver back tomorrow.
Didn't get to take any pictures but the barrel is nice and a heavy fucker. I guess the weight isn't a bad thing for a PRS shooter.
I disassembled the rifle, setup the Timney trigger and was in the process of stripping the bolt down to replace the firing pin, cocker, and shroud but I ran out of time; that damned thing called work.
Either I got became dumber over the last few months or just the limited time, but I couldn't get that damned bolt back together.
I definitely need to get that barrel fluted and cerokoted black.
Edit: Forgot to mention that Precision Firearms threw in a free rifle bag (decent quality) for taking so long.

Finished up for now, I decided to use the RPR stock from my 338 take off. The length of pull on the Magpul PRS Gen3 is terrible unless you're a fucking giant. Thinking of which, I should take the same stock off my RPR as well; I digress.
Scope is all torqued up to spec, properly mounted using my Wheeler tools.
The Baker wings haven't arrived yet. When I get some more disposable cash I'll probably order a MDT Short-X skeleton stock.

Swapped the grip out for an Anarchy Outdoors Penguine grip. I have one of these on my 338 LM RPR and love it.

I returned the Magpul PRS Gen3 stock and got a refund. I spent a little more cash and ordered a MDT SRS Short stock, rubber dampers and carbine to fixed adapter.
I'm gonna put the RPR stock back on my 338 Lapua Magnum and take off the Magpul PRS Gen3 on that one.
It's the first thing I've ever gotten from Magpul that I think sucks. I just can't get over how you cannot adjust LOP on what is advertised as a PRS stock. You have to be a freaking giant to use them.
On another note, I got a refund check of $65 from Precision Firearms for the lack of cerokote.
I'm gonna be using 360 Precision in Warminster, PA to flute my barrel and bolt. They came well recommended to me.

Cool looking build! But I am highly curious if you will cry if this shoots no better than an off the shelf Savage Arms target rifle?
Doubt it will under perform.
Installed the MDT 20 MOA pic scope rail, the vertical scope mount for the Sendit and the MDT Arca rail.

Got it out to the range last weekend at the Archbald game lands range.
Took me a few rounds to zero it out at 100 yds. After I had it zeroed, I stretched it to 500 yds. Hit 9/10 in the size of a golf ball with one errant shot to the left. Not sure if it was from poor trigger pull or lack of bags. I was in such a rush to drive up to PA I forgot to pack my gear box with my bags and other LRP stuff.
All in all, I'm very happy with the way the rifle performed. My only complaint is, I want to find a horizontally longer cheek riser for the MDT SRS stock. They said they didn't make them longer.
I'm thinking of getting some ABS plastic and heat forming it to the contour and cutting it to the size I need. I have a 3D printer but I'm absolutely terrible at CAD.
