Now that this Forum has been purchased by Russian Oligarchs, it is time matters turn away from the Capitalistic Pig Glocks, and to the Firearms of the Fatherland.
Ah, the 1895 - so good at keeping the peasants at bay.....
But in the past few years, as soon as the major sources dried up, how they have increased in value !
I acquired mine for $125; many have paid less.
NOW.... the ATF frowns at C&R's purchasing items just for resale.
BUT .... what if when these beauties were selling for $80, I had purchased 50 or so, and worked out a deal with a local FFL to transfer them over to me for a minimal fee. Perhaps you NY types could have done just that.
That would mean I had not used my C&R to purchase them.
Could I not, now, begin SELLING them for $$$ ?
Through GB, to FFL's or C&R's ?
Even here in AssaChewSetts we can sell across State Lines all we wish (I think), as long we do not run afoul of the ATF.
But sadly, I could never have purchased a quantity in the manner I describe, as all Handguns in Mass, sold by an FFL, must be on a Published Roster.
Yes, a Mass FFL could sell me an 1895 as a C&R, or SOG and the like could ship to me, but then I could not buy more than one, mebe two, before running afoul of ATF C&R rules. If I ever sold them.
SO - do any of you regret not stocking up on these when they were cheap ?
AND - what's the least you paid for one ?
