Concealed carry in State park

With all the challenges is concealed carry allowed in NYS parks? I launch a boat to go fishing in the Hudson and wonder if I’m allowed to have while launching the boat. Thank you for any insight.

Fishing is technically "hunting". From what I've gathered from the DEC website you are technically going hunting. So that means you can have your sidearm with you.

I'm not a lawyer though, so don't hold me accountable. Also being downstate, it's more of a problem for you folks... if you catch my drift.

Yeah, I went fishing with every single firearm I own and the boat capsized! Unfortunately they were all lost... A sad sad day!
