I agree , I've never had a problem passing a NICS check but it is an infringement on my civil liberties .There shouldn't be a background check to exercise a constitutional right to begin with.
This another example of a slippery slope.
Another example of a slippery slope is the NY mandated a background checks that slid down the slippery slope from the NICS.
Death by a thousand cuts comes to mind.
The "loophole" they should be shown is a Noose. IIRC there ARE questions on the 4473 that specifically ask if you're under indictment, subject to a Restraining Order, etc. That doesn't matter to the "double secret probation" Democrats looking for Political capital in the form of proposed Legislation they can point at and say "LOOK! I'm actually doing something".Wouldn't that fall into the category of guilty before innocent?
Doesn't that screw with the due process part?
There they go with the "loophole" thing again.
Those assholes see loopholes everywhere.
Two words I would be happy to never see again would be loophole and commonsense.
Threat to Democracy deserves an honorable mention.
Not harder, smarter...not harder, more involved...Should we all vote harder next time, so that we keep ending up with more and more rules and laws against us?
Ahhh.... the "Guilty Until Proven Innocent Act."
THIS ^^^^^^^ is 100% CORRECT!!!Not harder, smarter...not harder, more involved...
Gun Owners are the worst demographic about actually getting involved even at the simplest act of putting your Boots back on and going to your local Polling place and casting a Ballot...It's sad how many complainers don't even know what District they're in or who represents them.
