Simple solution. If you want to hunt for racks, you buy a buck permit. If you are hunting on a regular license, you get one doe. To take two is an extra tag. A buck requires a permit. Who the fuck can run and measure the points and try to see through the trees if there are enough and on and on. Fuck all that. Good people will find themselves in trouble with all this bullshit. You want big racked deer, pony up for it. Don't create criminals out of meat hunters because you want a head on the wall. You can't eat antlers.

Hunting license is a "hunting license" Big bucks are magic, no one denies that, but when I hunt it is harvest time and I will shoot whatever I can to fill the freezer. I do not care about racks. And do not believe that the Gov. should dictate this type of thing. If the herd was being hurt by shooting young bucks then the change would be necessary, but that is not the case. someone just want to shoot a big buck....nonsense.
Antler restrictions are the "transgender bathroom" of the hunting world.

I have had antler restriction in 3H for a better part of 15 years. Nothing new. I believe we were the first WMU to test it out.
