Violating an act is not a crime. Property damage or physical injury has to be committed for there to be a crime committed.
This is how far off course we have allowed them to stray us, the people.
They have been deterring full auto without registration for a reason. Same reason they would love to remove all firearms from the people.
They are rightfully afraid of us.

*possession* of an unregistered machine-gun aka a glock switch is a federal crime punishable by 10 years and a $100,000 fine.

He doesn't need to do anything more than get caught with it.

Actually, an act is not a law. It is something that needs to be struck down. It is null and void, hence shall not be infringed.
The Feds are not much of gov. They've stole way to much power. Ask JFK.
FDR was not a good man or president.

The act is the legislation that creates the law.

Every federal law in the US is created by an act.

It's true that not every act creates criminal law, but the NFA most certainly did.

It may be an illegitimate law, but it's a law none the less.

Right wrong or indifferent to the subject of it, jist having the word "Act" in the title doesn't make it not a law. SAFE Act, Affordable Care Act, Patriot Act... they all suck and I would love them to be repealed or struck. But until they are, they're written law, passed by legislatures and signed by executive.
