But he took the guy down before he shot himself... a.m. I missing something here?Self inflicted means the bad guy shot himself.

Apparently there was some confusion on the scene. But he took the guy down before he shot himself... a.m. I missing something here?
The article was posted since I posted it lolApparently there was some confusion on the scene.
The article @Steal2B posted cleared it up I guess.
However, if you just see the video and dont read the article, the cop clearly says SELF INFLICTED GSW.
Meaning, that if you just watch the video you posted, you would take away that the cop did NOT shoot the guy.
We now know that the cop did in fact make the shot.
I made my post before the article was posted, so I went away believing what was said at the scene, self inflicted gun shot wound.
So how about this, January target challenge, 75 FEET, pistol, iron sights, two hands, barrier supported, 1 round. Here is the target.

Ok. Where do want him hit?
Can i do it unsupported?
Can I use a revolver or do we use a pistol like a LEO would use, Glock or beretta, etc.So how about this, January target challenge, 75 FEET, pistol, iron sights, two hands, barrier supported, 1 round. Here is the target.

SA?Well a revolver in .38 or .357maf would still be a police issue so I say yes
Edit but SA is -1 point
And his partner.Big deal, many of us here can do this every day. But then again, as often as many LEOs actually practice, maybe this is a big deal. For him.

Yeah. That changes everything. Originally it was posted at 75 yards. That's amazing. Not it turned out to be 75 ft which is only 25 yards.Wow! 75 feet. Who'd a thunk?
