Nobody has been arrested for taking the class.
It is Suffolk county 's policy to arrest people who take the class, but there is no allegation in the video that they have done so.

Irrespective the ease of accessing the internet and the files provided, it is STILL incumbent upon Government Agencies to supply printed forms and documents, there are those that can't/won/t/don't or are intimidated by the usage of a Computer. Stupid as it sounds, .gov has to be inclusive of everyone....why else do you think that forms and documents are supplied in a hundred different languages?
Has anyone actually been arrested? Sounds kind of like the threat of a catch-22 as a scare tactic that people are reacting to pre-emptively in a "what if" way, but if no one has actually been arrested yet couldn't that result in a lack of standing ruling?
I'd say screw them, call their bluff and do all the live fire training you want.

You realize you're wrong on that, don't you ? You MUST recertify your NYS pistol permit online. Mail- in forms are NOT ACCEPTED for recertifications. I'm sure there are dozens of other government interactions that must be done electronically. Crossing the US/Canada border in a commercial vehicle for instance - the PARS and PAPS numbers must be filed electronically.
