Yeah, I really hate the fact that we get treated like second-class citizens when it comes to our gun rights in comparison to law enforcement officers but I'm not a politician and I won't be able to move for a while so I might as well say fuck it and join them. Do my small part and only enforce laws that are constitutional.

The anti cop rant if they get something we don’t thing again.
If it makes you feel better, the 10 round rule applies to me the second I retired( excluding my service weapon which is now a safe queen).
Again, people complain and say that cops shouldn’t get it because they can’t. Some even suggest cops shouldn’t take advantage of it. But I don’t see anyone here limiting their long guns to 5 rounds only as it is for those stuck in New York City. Most didn’t care until they came for our stuff.
And yes, many cops and corrections retire and leave with their collection. Some moved their collection out of state. Like quite a few on this forum.

I won’t retire until I can leave the state for this very reason. It’s also why I only own a few handguns. I’ll buy more when I’m gone, I don’t need them now. All of my rifles and magazines will be out of NYC long before I retire.

You can buy whatever you want. Mags and “assault weapons”. The safe act basically does not apply if your are a qualified LEO.
