County amendment forms

I went down to the county clerks office today to add another pistola to my permit. I had forgotten to fill out one of the amendement forms that I have at home, so I had to fill one out when I got there. I noticed that they have already changed them to reflect the up coming state recertification. The new forms now require you to write down your drivers license number ( never had to before)and weather or not you have the "county" permit or the new "NYSP " permit.


For those of you who have to also fill out Amendment forms, have you noticed if your Cnty. Has changed their forms?

Dutchess Co. hasn't changed a thing. They want your DL number because DMV will be tied in with NYS permits.

So who is issuing permits the State or the County? My permit has a recertify date for this year.

After recertification It will still be your county that handles any and all amendments. I thought that it was interesting that they wanted you to indicate County or NYSP when this shit really hasn't even taken affect yet. I received my recert letter on Monday. I have no intentions of doing anything about it until the last minute.

Yes I know why they want my DL # . Actually , Onondaga county has had pistol permit info. Tied to DMV information for many years.
