“We’ve lost track of the frivolous lawsuits filed against us during this pandemic," said Cuomo senior advisor Rich Azzopardi.
It goes way back to shortly after SAFE passed, they tried to pull some shady shit regarding legality of rifles. Theres a LONG thread on the "old forum", I'll see if I can find it.Why don’t you guys like DSI? What’s so bad about them that I do not know?
They're shitweasels. They were willing to make shit up in an effort to jam up other retailors and steer business toward their own over priced crap. Why don’t you guys like DSI? What’s so bad about them that I do not know?
Places like Sportsmans Warehouse in Rochester were always open. I know of another local LGS that never closed as well. But U.S. District Court Judge Lawrence Kahn wrote in his ruling New Yorkers could still purchase firearms from other retailers and "the evidence in the record indicates that, even during the height of the lockdown, New Yorkers continued to enjoy access to numerous retailers where they could purchase firearms."
Dementia? What retailers were open to purchase firearms? And what evidence in the record?

No idea. Sportsmans Warehouse sells lots of other items, so maybe that kept them open?So how were some able keep their doors open and others weren't?
There were a bunch of exemptions in the EOs that determined who was essential and who wasn't. One of these exemptions was that if you supplied police or security agencies, you were essential. Some shops reasoned that if they were essential for the cops, they were essential for everyone else and stayed open. Others, since there was no clear guidance and they didn't want to risk their business licenses, played it conservative and stayed closed either to everyone or just to non-cops.So how were some able keep their doors open and others weren't?

I can't imagine having to make the call on opening a business I may have been building up for 10 or 20 or 30 or more years, knowing if I make the wrong decision the state might put me out of business, and if I stay closed the bank might take it.What a shitshow.
Easier to get a new business license than new cash.I can't imagine having to make the call on opening a business I may have been building up for 10 or 20 or 30 or more years, knowing if I make the wrong decision the state might put me out of business, and if I stay closed the bank might take it.
Demented, senile and should have been in one of Cuomo's nursing homes. His ruling, yellow rotten teeth, ear hair, puffy sleepless eyes and uni-brow certainly confirm the 83 year old judge can not care for himself. But U.S. District Court Judge Lawrence Kahn wrote in his ruling New Yorkers could still purchase firearms from other retailers and "the evidence in the record indicates that, even during the height of the lockdown, New Yorkers continued to enjoy access to numerous retailers where they could purchase firearms."
