I use My CC and get cash back . All purchases are stored for how long: I don't know. And if they get "off" by monitoring My purchases for guns or ammo......they'll be busy and maybe a 2nd shift...Hey...I'm helping the economy. (I always pay My card completely at every cycle so I feel I'm using them also)

My primary FFL does not take credit cards. No bank fees for transactions passed on to his customers. Low overhead = better prices.

What's funny is when gun sales drop so dramatically that wildlife funding takes a major hit.

Thanks to the NRA there is a 6% (I believe that's the amount) tax already included in all NEW gun sales which is then used for wild life preserves and national forests

I hope everyone knows that they can track your purchases via your credit card. Went to Lowes with a return and no receipt.

You can search your Ebay purchases for atleast 3yrs back as well.
As stated, unless you have cash, someone can find it.

Question.
If you purchase a gun from a big box store and they do the paperwork on a computer ( nics & 4473 ) do they tie the serial # and model info into your NICS and all goes into the data base?
The FFLs I use do it on paper and one guy said the he does not include the SN/ model in the NICS just the type ( long gun, pistol , other) as the NICS is on the buyer, not the item.
Not sure if that is common practice though.
