Synopsis: The judge in the trial of rapper Young Thug secretly got together with the prosecution and one of the witnesses without the knowledge or presence of the defense attorney. The defense attorney called it coercion and witness tampering, and refused to tell the judge how he found out about the meeting, claiming it was "work privilege" that he could not disclose to the court. So the judge held the defense attorney in contempt of court and 20 days of jail incarceration.
Georgia Supreme Court overturned the judge's contempt of court ruling. Apparently this judge has a track record of going off the rails.
Young Thug is on trial IIRC for drug dealing and gang related chargers.
Corruption seems to swirl around a this "prosecutor" who is charge of a prosecution against a certain ex-president. Doesn't it?
