I always pack a rifle when I go cross country or across the big pond to other countries.
I'd like to tow that right over to Albany . . .

Who says he'll be driving major highways the whole time?
If hes traveling fpr work im sure he wont be travrling remote areas.
Even so, theses not to many secondary and third and fourth roads where youll need survival gear.
But hey, maybe he will go over a cliff on an unmaintained, seasonal road in the rockies, who knows.

If he only wants to limit himself to a tiny bag that's the size of a roll of toilet paper, I don't think he would care much for a survival straw anyway.

Ha ha Ha. If he's driving wood roads or logging roads on his trip across country then I'm sure he's going to prepare for those roads.
I have not met anyone ever in my life that was driving across country that intended to use wood roads or logging roads as their choice of travel.
