The geographic areas are completely arbitrary and complete BS. For example, why are Niagara County and Allegheny County roped in together? I can't think of a single thing they have in common.

The only thing that would make sense is to group together 2 or 3 tiers of urban counties (based on population) and then the rest of the state which is all rural.

It will be done in a way that's well regulated and prevents our hospitals from being overrun by Covid patients again. Quite your crying. I m no fan of cuomo and I don’t agree with forcing business to close in the first place, but he is basically following the guidelines set by the federal government.

I was listening to this today. If i was a conspiracy guy I would say they are not really testing for Covid-19 but testing for some sort of population control thing or some other wacko theory. What they couldn't get enough data from North Country residents during this mess?

I mean were does he come off. He tells the State that they have to test 30 people per month per 10000 people. What the fuck is that? I live in Lewis County. We have had 11 cases and NO DEATHS. That is it 11 cases. It has been 11 cases for over two weeks. We they fuck would he then force and I use the word FORCE the county to test 30 people a month before we can start doing business again. It is absurd and just a way to keep this craze going. Just a way to keep the subjects of his little empire in control and it is almost like a punishment for trying to live as free as someone can in NYS. I am showing no signs of begin sick, no signs of Covid-19 and do all the shit like washing my hands, using hand sanitizer and NOT TOUCHING MY FACE. Should a test be wasted on me just to fill a requirement so that local business and town governments can open up again. It is not realistic.

If he wants to open New York state in regions then he should look at a region like the North Country and come up with realistic ways to do it. He does not care one bit about the local workers here. Doesn't give a fuck about people trying to pay bills. Small amount of cases throughout this whole thing should equal let people go back to work. Let people make money. All this is goign to do is drag this on and depress the economy of NYS more.

Let's see how many people move out this year...

Cuomo's Covid show is going to end if he likes it or not. No need to punish people who did a good job keeping themselves safe from the virus.

Chautauqua Cattaraugus and Allegany counties combined have a total of 124 cases according to Reuters news map. They shouldn't be lumped in with Erie and Niagara.

The best part is you need 14 days of decline and there is also mention of 3 day rolling averages for other things. As soon as you get a few more cases the 14 days starts over again.

Also phase 1 and 2 are broken down. In neither of those phases are bars and restaurants mentioned.

At first I thought that maybe the people saying the states were lumping deaths from flu and pneumonia together with Covid deaths to raise the Covid numbers were conspiracy theorists, but now......
A couple days ago our local officials announced another Covid death at our local hospital. That makes 3 in our county I believe.
The problem is that the guy who died is a relative of a friend of mine.
The guy who died from "Covid" has had COPD for years, he was in hospital with pneumonia in December 2019 and has had complications from that sinse then. He was on oxygen and had hospice nurses come to his home 2x a day because his COPD was at the terminal phase.
The family is very interested in seeing a test result for Covid, but there is none.
So, we would be reset because of his death.

He is only following the CDC guide lines so he has an excuse, he has an "out", he can blame someone else if their is a second wave of C-19. He is a coward, he is not leader, he's a cowardly follower.

A true leader would look at the data ( no hospital in Rochester has been "overwhelmed') and say "yep, there probably is going to be more infected, but the survival rate is 98%+, citizens of upstate, use common sense, wear protective gear if you feel it necessary, lets all get back to work."

Rochester General Hospital set up drive through check points in the parking lot of the old Wilson Health Center. 8 tents are set up with traffic cones to snake all the cars through the lot. I drive by that lot, anywhere from twice a day to a dozen times a day. In the last 6 weeks, I HAVE NEVER SEEN more than one car in the lot at any time during the day?

where are all the infected people. where are all the people that are demanding to be tested??? they sure as hell ain't at, this testing site
