People use the analogy of a politician murdering someone in the street to say that they can get away with anything.

To add insult to injury, these people died alone. Imagine spending decades paying taxes only for the state to tell you that your kids can't be there to hold your hand while you slowly wither away.
I'm lucky I didn't have any elderly family dying during the pandemic. I would NOT have accepted only being able to see them through a window.
