You know the funny thing is just idiotic public announcements like this totally bring out the rebellious side of most people. Myself included! The disenfranchisement and distrust of Gov't is running higher and higher these days, and shit like this only help!
I want to clarify some things... My thoughts...
I know what to do to be cautious, I know what the numbers are, the disease infection probabilities, and the worst side of it all. I take this seriously and am fully cognizant of it all. As such, I practice prudent safeguards for my health and the health of my loved ones, especially those who are with me, or that I send time with. This is my choice and my responsibility! I also am cognizant and mindful while interacting with the public!
But, I don't need the Gov't, let alone a Governor, taking liberties with powers not entrusted to it by law, with the self serving purpose of effectuating an Autocracy in the name of "Safety"... Decrees, announcements, edicts are all "informative" in nature and carry no legal weight, although those in power, included my the complicit media, social media and like, will want to, have you, think otherwise!
This is not England, and couples not living together can't be prevented from having sex, the govt can't tell you how to live life freely, while pursuing happiness! And any serious attempt at enforcement will only result in bad situations arising! I too am looking forward to the holidays and having family together and enjoying it all, maybe a bit more meaningful this year!
That all said, I AM in the class of susceptible persons who need to be cautious! I had a surgery upcoming that has been delayed (was supposed to be day after tomorrow) because my surgeon has been exposed (not infected)... So for those that think even when you don't GET the worst of it, is no big deal, keep in mind the baggage that gets dragged along with it all. It's not just those who wind up on a respirator that are affected, or have adverse experiences because of it (indirectly). There are many who require medical care who are being affected in big ways.
So be smart out there, leave arrogance at the door, be smart and stay safe!

Good news everybody this coming Thursday the 26th I will be holding a mostly peaceful rally at my place with 40 people to celebrate Joe Biden’s election victory. We will also be holding a social awareness event against police brutality through the symbolic consumption of a turkey dinner. I highly recommend everybody else do the same as I have learned that said events are immune to the spread of covid!

I watched the news conference today for erie county. Didn’t plan on it but I turned the TV on to watch forged in fire and it was on. That asshole mark Polencarz actually said we’re not canceling thanksgiving but you can’t have anyone outside of your household attend. This also included your child if they are away at college right now. Then the dumb shot says we encourage you get get out and shop locally.
