I'm going to come clean here.....so I can go to sleep with a clear conscience. For many years I've been in possession of not one but MANY "assault spoons". Not just regular assault spoons but UNDETECTABLE assault spoons. They've been hiding in plain sight in my kitchen and I just cant go on knowing I'm possessing these instruments of death and carnage just waiting for the day to come when they do their deed and alter the lives of innocent citizens. There, I said it.

You're fine. Under NYS penal code 265 sub section 69.0 Chapter 3822 it states that,
"under the division of such act one may not be liable of unlawful and illegal possession of an assault spork provided the prongs of such plastic, metal, or other composite spork meet legal criteria under the limitations, and while not exceeding protrusions of 10mm in total length to the rounded spoon function." " continuing subsection 69.0; Any such spoon, fork or spork shall be subject to search and seizure protocol by law enforcement for safety inspection during public possession to distinguish whether or not said spork in question is a "dangerous knife" or possesses any risk to the possessor or surrounding public citizenry regardless of construction, material or features under said discretion."

Just don't carry them concealed or openly outside, at a picnic, a restaurant, any public gathering, your car, any businesses, etc and you won't get arrested. If you're going on a picnic, just don't keep all your spoons and forks in one basket either.
