$2700 a year?!?!?!?!?!?!??! When was that, 1968?
A friend out of state owns a house assessed three times the value of mine and pays less than 1/5 the taxes on it.
We don't own anything, stop paying taxes and we'll see you on the court house steps.

A friend moved to Murrels Inlet in SC, left the N. Wastchester area. His taxes went from about 15,000 to 1,200 and he has a NEW bigger house now.

Sounds like he took a look at the numbers of grads leaving the state , did a little bit of common core math and figured if people continue to leave at twice or 3 times the birth rate , were going to go broke by.........SHIT!
