This entire issue has nothing to do with the second amendment, firearms or shooting. NY GOP hasn't done shit for gun rights, but feels like they have gun owner's ear. I call bs. This thread directly discusses a dictatorial govorner who has a history of outrageous abuses that includes the SAFE act, free college, and ignoring federal law. There would have been even more abuses incited by this governor and looney left liberals (who always seem to be elected democrats), including more 2A restrictions in New York except that legislation was stopped in the New York Senate almost entirely along party lines. Sorry, but this is factual reality.

Fears that these threads will start anti 2A retaliation, .... newsflash, Anti gun advocates do not need any provocation to attack our 2A rights and urban democrats have already cast 2A rights in their devisive identity politics rhetoric.

Without saying, most politicians suck but in New York politicians that oppose FUAC's atrocities suck quite a bit less.

They helped to pass SAFE act and had numerous opportunities to use leverage and walk it back. THEY DID NOT. They suck more, because they lie to us. I can cite a bunch of democrat controlled states with good gun laws, where gun activists stick to one issue, instead of being gullible asswipes.

This is a gun forum. How about emailing your state senator and assemblyman and demanding to walk back the SAFE act using anything they can as a leverage, including Dreamers. For once make a fucking deal that will benefit gun ownership.
