Current gun bills in NY Assembly and Senate.

Just got notice from SCOPE for a bill that sounds like it would target out of state businesses who sell, among other things, ammo to NYS residents without contacting der eyebrows fuhrer's gestapo:

This one is really going down the rabbit hole , suppose you're out of state on a hunt and need a box of ammo ? Must be you'll need to call NYSP and get permission ?

I can't see this passing. I realize the left are pretty dense, but there has to be a few with enough brain cells to realize this is not only an infringement on NYS residents, but against the interstate trade laws.

I absolutely see this passing once a Senate version is submitted.
The NYS Legislature, under direction of der eyebrows fuhrer, have no qualms about infringing any right, and have already demonstrated they will attempt to affect interstate trade by going after and threatening out of state vendors.
The only reason they haven't been locked up for it is sympathetic tyrants in D.C.

Maybe, just maybe, we can see some actual arrests? Pretty please?

So far, they have not been able to pass legislation making it illegal to buy ammo out of state and bring it here, in large part due to the interstate trade policies. So while nothing surprises me about NY, I don't see where this will pass while those others didn't. But, that said, I'm not going to argue about it because to me personally I have better things to do with my life.
