Custom Knives

Instead of hijacking somebody else's thread I thought that I would post a couple of the custom knives that I've picked up in the last year. From bottom to top--
1st is a Jeff White handforged 1095 carbon steel Mini Nessmuck
2nd is sweet little high carbon 52100 ball bearing steel skinner with polished Camel bone handle from Hercules knives
3rd is an exceptionally nice Demascus steel folder with dyed camel bone handle. made by Dizzy Fox knife works in the U.K.

I have several others that I have acquired over the years. I'll post a pic or two over the next few days.
I'm not really a collector, as collectors go. I'm more of, an accumulator. I just happen to have this addiction to sharp pointy things and things that go Bang!

Nice addictions. Better than booze and hookers. I like 1 and 2 in the order of the pictures. Some day I'll have a nice Damascus steel blade. I love the look.

Very nice. @Saltwater60 damascus is actually not that expensive anymore. Many manufacturers make damascus knives for very reasonable prices. Mcusta and spyderco in the under $200 range, and Reate and Lionsteel in the $500 to $300 range. $500+ could get you a nice CRK with a damascus blade.

This Damascus knife is the most expensive one that I own and without a doubt the nicest. Folded over 400 times to make this amazing raindrop pattern. The handle is dyed and stabilized Burle wood.

I had this made from an old Nicholson bastard file that I had laying around.

I have a bunch of old 1980s Sandvik files from skiing, they are pretty good steel. So I experimented for an afternoon. Cheap bench grinder, power drill, grill... made a girl's butterknife ;-)

Handles are really hard to do well!

This is a very early Evans knife. I took this in on a trade10 years ago for some leather stuff that I was making at the time.
Even back then this guy had real forging talent.

This is one of the damned sharpest knives that I have ever owned.
Another trade knife. Osage orange wood handle. 1095 carbon steel
Made by a guy in WIsconsin . It's a plain Jane but This is my go to hunting , will skin or gut anything knife.
