I agree I haven't spent the time on this gun doing to proper dry firing. Hopefully I will be able to remedy that in the future. I also think your correct about me getting the same hits by pulling the trigger faster. The third round last night (the video was the second one) I shaved off 2 seconds and scored 115 of a possible120. So that well of hits tells me I need to put the gas peddle down.

The first part is 100%

When I first got my CZ with RMR back I would just hang out in the living room or what ever room, pick a spot and practice presentation from compressed ready (usually a light switch or some other smallish but noticeable spot on the wall or a door or window) over and over and over. Then I would move on to adding a draw motion as well. You would be surprised how fast picking up the dot became super easy and fast and even picking up irons is now better as well

Best way training for the red dot is as stated before dry fire, but letting your body take its natural course. If you have a solid base of fundamentals you should be set with this little trick.

What i did to get used to red dots on pistols
-close your eyes now draw. Open your eyes the dot should theoretically be in your line of sight, due to repetition and malignant short term memory. Most of the time when people get dots they search for it and move the gun around. They focus on the dot and forget about the fundamentals.
-So forget about the dot focus on fundamentals, bring the gun to you not you to the gun and every time your hands should goto the same exact spot with dot in clear view.
