I think many here and throughout the state would be very surprised by how correct you are. Most do not even serve any time for these guns crimes. I would say that more than 90% are plead down to non-gun crimes.

The other thing Vance proposes is to make possession or sale of 20 or more pistols an A1 felony (currently a B felony to possess more than 10).

Just for comparison, having 20 unlicensed pistols would become a more horrible crime than:

First degree rape - B felony
First degree robbery - B felony
Assaulting a judge - C felony
Predatory sexual assault - A2 felony
Using a chemical or biological WMD - A2 felony

The "ineffectiveness" due to sources outside the state has already been brought up by Cuomo as a way to push for more laws at the federal level.

It's amazing isn't it. I'm glad you stuck up for me. My father arrested a known mentally ill man selling him guns with no background check. Oh and dos I forget the mention the mentally ill man was a felon. My father arrested him he requested a jury trial and the judge in my city said in dismissing it in the interest of justice. Jury trials why bother right.

A guy at my work is batshit crazy he threatened to bring a gun in and shoot us all and poison is with the coffe maker. Good thing I don't drink coffe right. So my work called the cops. He no showed for his court date, second date came around and all charges were dismissed. So now he can go buy a better gun to shoot is with.

You would all be very surprised how often these things happen even in nys. This is what we need to focus on. Also the mirder solve rate being less than 20% in a lot of cities. So you can kill some one 5 times then the 6 th time you might or might not get caught. Not blaming the cops. I'm blaming the resources and no snitching man.

I've been asking several local and national gun groups what they are going to do about places like NY, MA and CA and NONE of them have anything meaningful to say. They just say, "elect pro gun politicians." Well BS! Hell, the "republicans" helped give us unsafe. Plus, that's not how rights work. Is this really it?
