RIP, second worst mayor in NYC history (so far). I got to know Mr. DInkins a little bit after his term ended and he was quite a nice gentleman in person. However his time in office was marked with rampant crime and social issues, and his actions with respect to the Crown Heights riots put the blood of Yankel Rosenbaum directly on his hands for which I find unforgivable.

I remember listening to the imus in the morning show. He had a recurring character sketch where his producer impersonated the local Catholic cardinal. During a skit he referred to dinkins as "that skycap impersonating a mayor.". I always loved that line.
