“common-sense gun safety laws that most Americans want”
What a clown lol
Most Americans?
What Americans is he taliking about besides his left wing fans?
The same 'most Americans' the polls polled predicting a virtual 100% guaranty the beast would be occupying the WH now.
I don't follow the polls on either side anymore.

IIRC Back some time ago Obama and his cronies said that over 90% of Americans support the idea of universal background checks. Since when does 90% of Americans agree on anything. The Democrats lie every time they open there big mouths.
I have noticed that they are using the term "gun safety laws" now instead of "gun control laws"
The Democrats always use a play on words... "SAFE Act" and "Affordable Health Care" for just a couple of examples.
From embeded link in article.
"Just to give you an example, under Ronald Reagan there were 11 mass shootings in America … under George W. Bush, 23," he continued. "Listen to this, in the seven years Barack Obama has been president, 162.

So Obummer wants Trump to do something Trump doesn't believe in, while Obummer didn't do what he did believe in (thank god). Hypocrite.
Precisely why he has yet to earn my trust. When he pushes and signs pro gun bills that will solidify our stance, I will then relax. You do realize Trump has stated before he supports assault weapons bans and longer waitiing periods right

You do realize if a bill never crosses his desk there's no bill for him to sign, right?
I can't predict the future but based on how he is handling himself currently I would be somewhat surprised if he did.At the same time if a let's say assault weapons ban bill comes across his desk what's to say he won't sign it

I was referring to not mentioning guns in his speech and acting more conservative compared to RINO overall.True. I mean Mexico is totally paying for that wall right.........

Oh I do realize that, but he's also flip flopped many times on the issue and never solidly stated he will defend against the onslaught of antigunners. You do realize if a bill never crosses his desk there's no bill for him to sign, right?

I've said this many times. It's one of the biggest giveaways that they are full of shit.IIRC Back some time ago Obama and his cronies said that over 90% of Americans support the idea of universal background checks. I never said I was writing him off, just don't trust him yet. He is after all, a NYC businessman. He's led the life of the few who are privileged enough to get a NYC carry permit. The rest are just serfs. In the end, our lives have no effect on his. It's a trust issue, I don't give that out freely.Correct, so don't be so quick to right him off yet. IMO he's been doing great considering all the opposition he's encountered, from BOTH sides of the aisle.

I completely understand, and agree. But with this shit happening so often I just don't see him taking such a defiant step as telling them to fuck off when it comes to the 2nd. Odumbo used to brag highly about his pen and phone. I'd like to see Trump play his game. It would seem he could pressure Congress somehow to also support us, maybe I'm wrong. There's a lot of fat he could cut instantly with some slick defunding if they don't want to play hardball, then turn that funding into real world fixes to this shooter problem. Just a god damn cat and mouse game and we're the mice.I hear ya. The thing is, there were what, about a dozen Republican candidates in the primary? Out of all of them I'd say he's the only one that wouldn't have been a sellout to the establishment way of doing things. I believe he's better than every option we had. And quite frankly, he's encountering an uphill battle every day and basically telling every one of the opposition (Repub's included) to kiss his ass.
Right now he hasn't mentioned guns when addressing the public since the shooting. Maybe this is one way to say fuck off. We'll see.I completely understand, and agree. I'm hoping to hear a press conference and hear what he has to say. I'm sure it's coming. Really, I'd love to sit down over a steak and beer and talk to him just to have a good conversation about this for a couple hours. Unfortunately the only politicians that would actually make the time for serfs like me would be Senator Akshar from my district, but he's lost all my respect when his "I support the 2nd, but" was made obvious after Vegas.Right now he hasn't mentioned guns when addressing the public since the shooting.
