Dean Skelos won’t seek bail, will appeal conviction from prison

Disgraced ex-state Sen. Dean Skelos is no longer seeking bail pending his appeal, which means he will go straight to jail on his scheduled surrender date of Jan. 8, his lawyers said on Monday.

Skelos, 70, was supposed to file papers by Nov. 9 requesting to remain out of prison while he appeals his conviction for corruption.

I'm surprised that Dean Skelos and or Sheldon Silver didn't rat out FUAC to help themselves.
They are not hardened criminals and are facing prison time in their golden years... And they have to have shit on Andy.
There is no way that FUAC is clean... No f - ing way.

The mafia doesn't even practice omerta (code of silence) anymore... That's the main reason for the mafia's downfall.
I watched some mafia documentaries this past weekend. I kept thinking of Cuomo and the rest of Albany... LOL

The way that Cuomo insulates himself from criminal prosecution while his underlings end up in prison reminds me how the mafia bosses used to operate. I wonder how much bribery and intimidation "really" goes on behind closed doors in Albany.
