Have a couple of them that I had considered giving away as karmas to someone with small kids that could use it but the whole transfer BS put me off to that. You'll probably wind up paying more to have background check than for rifle. Good luck would help you out if it weren't for unSAFE. FUAC.

Thanks as stated no interest in participating in this scheme for single shot 22 for "cheap" lol. Would much rather hold on to them for my boy or my nephews and nieces. Would probably make a good backpacking rifle now that I think about it lol. Funny thing I bought them long before unSAFE for my boy and he never shot them. Recently has shown interest in shooting but we've moved up a bit size-wise. Good luck man wish I could help but more hassle than it's worth. You can pick up something new for less than $100.

So how would this work and where are you located? Do you actually need to transfer to pattern a stock? What parts do you actually need?

There' in lies the rub. The piece that connects to stock is the receiver which needs an FFL and background check. Silly question why wouldn't the stock work and just take a negative impression with modeling clay or the like? Or a cast of the receiver? BTW I own two but neither are crickets. I'm not sure what brand they are actually.

Sometimes you can find them at local FFL for around $50 just the way this kung flu virus situation is right now eventually things will return

That is very generous of you to offer. I know this is not what you meant, but I just laughed at the thought of measuring a rifle inside a coffeeshop LOL. Do you think the model is still in production/is it common? If I can track one down online to buy later it might make sense to design it now and test it later.

I can’t seem to find schematics. But I would eventually need to purchase one to test it out anyways so I’m still looking.

Cool project. My BIL just made a very comfortable spur grip looking thing. It’s nice actually.
