So take away guns but they can’t be charged with murder. What are they saying they aren’t responsible for their own actions? Then how can they sign for loans and buy homes or live on their own? Their actions contradict themselves

The inevitable backlash to the abuse of felony murder laws has started. They just had to push the envelope, now the baby will be thrown out with the bathwater.

Example: two goons attempt to rob someone, one goon gets shot dead by the intended victim. Second goon ends up charged with the murder of his accomplice. That's absolutely not what felony murder was intended for, and furthermore, no murder took place.

The problem is that we are no longer raising our children into adults.

Our current parenting strategies are designed to keep them childlike as long as possible, not to produce strong independent adults.

There was a time not very long ago when you had matured into adulthood by the mid teens.

Now we are discussing whether you are really an adult at 25 ?

This is very similar to the process that turned wolves into dogs, i.e. domestication.
