They aren't going to go house to house. It'll just be legislated against and some will turn them in and some will not and become felons. They'll be gone in a generation or 2 depending on if your children will keep them or not. And if they don't get rid of them their kids, kids will.

My guess is that most kids who inherit them will dump them because they wouldn't be able to be used in the range or while hunting. It wouldn't be worth the headache.

Add to that the fact America has never won any conflict that was executed as Guerilla Warfare and put the two together and I see 100% failure for the US Govt if it ever got that far. Just my two cents that isn't worth 1 cent after NY taxation. I see something else happening. I see the US Govt being removed per the US Constitution. That's what I see. NY and other communist states will fall first of course. I think too many people are uneducated to the fact that every state is a country. This is a republic .... It's bound by the US Constitution. We'll see what happens with the upcoming arrests and investigations into the DNC. I think that may be enough to avoid any conflicts.

I don't think we're completely stupid in this case. I think, like most rational people, we enjoy and like to see peace perpetuated. Conflict, whatever form it may take, requires work and risk. There's a high degree of tolerance because we love our families and want to see them do well.

The mistake that will be made is the breaking of that peace which we secure for our families. When they start making criminals out of the peaceful... when they break up families, leaving children and wives without fathers and husbands... when they start doing these things on the large scale they always threaten... that's when they'll have realized too late that they awakened the limits of hard working Americans. When a man can no longer protect or provide for his family, you've crossed a line that he will no longer tolerate.

Unfortunately, i agree. IMHO right now. Alot more needs to done against the 2018 Assault Weapons Ban. Which is hanging in the winds right now. As we know will ban just about all semi auto pistols, rifles, and shotguns. You have 150 or so in congress that support it. If we lose both houses come November. To me it's guaranteed to pass. It could possibly pass right now. And don't count on Trump 100% that he would veto it. He has made some ignorant remarks about bump stocks. Turning guns into machine guns. And he did support the last Assault Weapons Ban. I also think, there's alot of a layback attitude if it does pass. Since they will be grandfathered in. See what happens to them in the near future. No doubt the other side will make it very difficult to keep owning them. And, since this ban also bans. The "manufacturing" of any of these semi autos. I can't see how most of the major manufactures can stay in business for very long. As we know. More semi autos are sold then revolvers. IMHO that is.

I wish I could disagree with you. I truly do. Logically I think this is how it will play out.

I think the left are playing a game of strategic patience. They will continue to just chisel away and "let us have ours" but screwing the future generations. They have super computers, data analytics, meta data, think tanks, predictive analysis all calculating their disarmament strategy on what methods are least likely to cause rebellion but still achieve their goals. Were lulled to sleep fat dumb and happy. We all have food on the table, jobs, lives, happy families. The majority aren't going to risk giving up their comfort. Were a proverbial frog sitting in a pot of water that is slowly heating up.

The only way this deviates is if the left pushes too hard too quickly and it invites a major reaction. For example, if for say Obama had ordered the national guard or some federal task force to crush the cattle protest at the Bundy ranch or the Sioux oil pipline and 200 people died and then made an executive order immediately banning semi auto rifles, then that might do it. But they will continue to just chip away.


The most likely resistance I can envision is a far right state (I'm looking at you idaho, montana, wyoming, Texas etc) tell the feds to Fuck off and declare their states gun sanctuary states and all the patriots flock to them. That might lead to an interesting showdown.
