I said the same thing.Just Republicans calling in on the dem line is all. Fake news.
No matter what happens half the country isn’t going to trust the results.Hope Trump will win but this is going to be one dirty ass election. Don’t even bother staying up all night on Nov3rd.

I think the right will be like “oh well” if biden wins but if trump wins there will be riots from the left. The right is always the one remaining calm in these situations. Who knows though, I see another Bush v. Gore situation. No matter what happens half the country isn’t going to trust the results.
That's scary.
When people don't like the results, but accept them, things can proceed peacefully.
But when people don't trust the results, it's an entirely different story.
The only way this comes off without being a disaster is if it's a landslide.
If Biden legitimately wins, sure.I think the right will be like “oh well” if biden wins but if trump wins there will be riots from the left. The right is always the one remaining calm in these situations. Who knows though, I see another Bush v. Gore situation.
Something like this maybe ?If Biden legitimately wins, sure.
But what if they pull half a million mail in ballots out of their ass at the last minute in a couple of key states ?
What if there's convincing evidence of fraud ?
Do we invalidate the election and have a "do over" ?
Would anyone accept the results of *that* election ?
The whole system relies on the vast majority of people trusting it. Once that trust is gone it all collapses.
What if the deep state FBI agents decide they need a better "insurance policy" than they had in 2016 ?
What if several federal LE agencies just decide he is "not their president" ?
Something like this maybe ?
Data firm predicts election 'chaos' as Trump seems to win in a landslide before losing as more votes are counted
A data firm is bolstering the idea that Election Night is going to be a nightmare this year.Hawkfish, the political data agency funded largely by Michael Bloomberg and contracting with Democratic candidates in the 2020 election, is predicting "chaos in America" once this year's presidential...news.yahoo.com
I don’t have a solution. I think this election is going to be s shit show no matter what we do.Absentee ballots are legal votes and those votes do need to be counted. People can vote by mail up through the day of election as long as postmarked on or before election day. They are physical pieces of paper that need to be moved through the mail system, so those votes won't be in possession of the counters at 12:01 AM the day after election day.
So what's your solution? As for me I think they should hold off on reporting any vote count until it's finalized. Want the numbers? -- You'll get them when we are done. I never liked the XX% reporting, and here's who is winning, 40% reporting isn't 100% reporting, and the winner is determined by 100% reporting not 40% of precincts reporting. I want to know who won after a final tally, not who has the most votes based on however many ballots they've got through so far at some random point in time.
EDIT: I'm talking at a state level here, ie. once Nebraska has 100% of their state counted, they report their result, they don't need to wait for everyone else, just their own state to be complete as that decides their electors.

Encouraging vote by mail certainly isn’t going to help though. Usually absentee ballots are a very small % of votes so they aren’t generally considered a threat to the integrity of the process.
If 20% or 30% or more of the votes are mail in, that's a whole different ball game.
Best case scenario is a landslide election where fraud would have to be at an unimaginable scale to affect the outcome. I don’t think we're going to see that.
Counting them obviously isn’t hard.IDK, we voted 150 years ago and there wasn't up to the second real time vote tallies available on 5 different cable news channels. They aren't necessary to properly tally a vote. The results can wait a couple days for everything to come in and be counted. This isn't complicated, it's adding +1 a lot of times.
