The OP was one of the saddest things I've read in a while. "Once your rights are gone, they're gone forever." It honestly feels like that and now that I have a son I feel even more hopeless knowing he will never really get to experience freedom in this state. It's such an empty feeling. Unfortunately I don't think we're ever getting our rights back. We can't even roll back the ammo DB that they don't even know how to enforce.
Hiding things in the gun safe or closet and never taking them out and enjoying them isn't the answer.
Shooting the cops who come to confiscate them isn't the answer either.
I honestly don't have a clue as to what the answer is.
All I'm certain of is that everything we've tried before, every organization we've trusted to lobby on our behalf, and every act of civil disobedience short of enacting violence hasn't worked.
All we've done is create a cottage industry where snake oil salesmen disguised as lobbyists, activists, attorneys, and politicians get rich off of our misfortunes.
Shooting the cops who come to confiscate them isn't the answer either.

Get 6,248 lawsuits going in a 12 hour period against the tyrannical, whomever they may be.
Do exactly what the NRA, NYSRPA and Scope SAY they will do, withoit the politics and without ONE SINGLE DIME of salary.
There have to be some patriotic lawyers who are willing to do a bit of pro bono work on behalf of patriots.
Have REAL, massive and vocal protests, events and rallies 365 days a year. Go before work, go after work, alternate forces on days off and vacation days.
Go to EVERY town hall meeting. Call out every single Assembly person and Senators. Let the "pro-2a" politicians know they are on notice.
Hold FUDD education seminars.....

If every gun owner in NYS pitched in, we could raise hundreds of millions of dollars.
Because if you cant fuck them into agreement, you gotta pay them.
