Got this email today. You know what the cock sucker means with the last paragraph. Too bad it's not permanent. Credit where credit is due for paying the workers while they're off of work though. Political play or not, they're doing what many or most companies won't.

In support of the nation’s efforts to stop the spread of COVID-19, DICK’S Sporting Goods will temporarily close all retail locations for two weeks, starting at the close of business today, March 18. We are planning to reopen Thursday, April 2. This includes our DICK’S Sporting Goods, Golf Galaxy and Field & Stream stores.

We will remain open and ready to serve our customers via our mobile apps and online, and through our new Curbside Contactless Pickup service at our DICK’S and Golf Galaxy stores. During this time, our curbside pickup option will be available to customers between 9AM and 6PM, seven days a week.

We realize the impact a closure can have on our teammates, and this is not a decision we made lightly. To help alleviate challenges during this temporary closure, we will be providing full pay and benefits during this two-week time frame for all teammates.

Our company has always done what’s right for the safety of our communities. We look forward to reopening and serving you in person soon.

Their Middletown NY store is in the Galleria. Governor monkeyface shut it down for them with all mall closings. I've never been in or seen any free standing Dicks so in my eyes this was a forced closing. No news, move on.

lets drop back into reality here. At this point, THIS COUNTRY will need every business to come back on line ASAP. when China begins manufacturing again, then things will start to turn around. As much as we hate any company, major corporations going OOB right now would be financially catastrophic. Unemployment will shoot to 15%--20% and Pres. Trump will be on the hot seat to get re-elected. The masses will want the government to take care of them, and who has a corner on that market? ya, DemocRATs

Right now, whether we like it or not, CHINA, not the virus, is in the drivers seat.

Let me ask you this: What would happen if China decided to delay the restart of manufacturing? even if their population was healthy? for another two or three months? AMERICA would be crippled, we will become a third world country in WEEKS, not months or years.

The world better hope the Chinese get their asses back in the factories, quickly. Or the world is going to go to shit faster than it is now

We would be inconvenienced for a bit...not years but months. Americans know how to adapt and get together. (IF anyone was in the military they know what "expedient measures" are) Expedient methods may be the order of the day. Screw china and the sampan they paddled in on. I'd gladly pay more for made in America goods. ( AND I understand where most medical supplies originate from so spare Me that argument)
