Happened to be in commie DSG today. The amount of people buying ammo was insane. Shelves are being cleared. A lot of people were buying rifles as well. I’m going to attribute this to the fear of COVID-19.

as I’m posting this there is a manager behind me pushing 8 rifle boxes to the checkouts for customers.

is anyone else seeing this around them? LGS ammo is dwindling as well with talks of putting daily limits on ammo.

I went to field and stream yesterday to just restock some pistol ammo is hot the other day st the range and saw the run starting to happen, a lot of people buying ammo so I doubled my order and went home

It's here too. I went to Cabelas, and half of the pistol cases were empty. Revolvers and Kimbers were still well stocked, but everything else was pretty well wiped out. The ammunition section looked like it had been looted. From there I went to a small local dealer and he was open an hour late to complete transactions. His stock was definately diminished and he was telling me that he was having trouble replacing stock. A lot of his business is at gun shows and most of them have been canceled for the forseeable future.

This "panic" is going to shut down the entire economy quickly. If you don't have whatever supplies you need, I'm sorry to tell you it may be too late !

Noticed the usual .18/round 9mm is completely gone. Everything else went up .02 per round the other day. I bought 1000 rds of Syntech for .22/round since it was the same price as it used to be. I'll use it at ranges where you can't use FMJ

yeah, all the rem fmj 9mm was gone along with all your other cheaper 50 round boxes, some sig left and quite a few blazer 500 round packs. No 223, no 12 gauge 100 rd packs and .22 was slim.

I bought a 500 round box of blazer as I purchase ammo every Saturday. Glad there was some left.

but I agree, prices definitely went up.

I am stocked as well, luckily. I can’t stand the people who bug and drive the costs up. Hopefully it’ll blow over soon...

Point of order:
There is a near infinite supply of toilet paper. You can even have delivered to your door, daily.

Look for the brand name, "New York Times."

They could probably make themselves solvent again by simply running the headline, "PRINTED ON SOFT, ABSORBENT PAPER"
