Trump was never a true 2A supporter as was Reagan and both Bush’s also never true 2A supporters but when it comes to 2 choices that you have to vote for that will actually win compared to a write in vote, the choice is pretty clear.

Had I had to do it all over again knowing what I know now, Trump would still get my vote compared to Hillary. He still will get it next election as well unless I find Kamala Harris to better represent my views and that’s not likely.

There has never been a true pro 2A president in our lifetimes and there never will be. Let’s face the facts. Everyone in charge is for gun control. Some more so than others. Even the politicians that have 2A A+ plus ratings are for gun control in some form by supporting NICS checks, the NFA, etc.

So when it comes down to it, only a fool would waste their vote or stay home giving the one candidate with a more solid gun control agenda a better chance of winning.

The articles I read about it said people heard shots and started running or hiding. I'd say that means it didn't make a difference but we know the media will spin it to suit their desired outcome

If you look at places where there is strong gun control, or wiser psychopaths, they use bombs and the death toll is much worse.

Guns are a surgical weapon compared to bombs. The attacker has to target each victim individually. With bombs they do it in bulk.

Neither are trucks hard to come by. The most deadly attack (outside of war) in this country (outside of 9/11) was conducted with a truck bomb. Of all the most recent "attacks" that have taken place here and in the EU, the most deadly one was conducted with a truck in France.

I certainly acknowledge the lethality of an AR in the wrong hands, but this idea that mass-casualty events will precipitously drop off in frequency if we ban them is a fool's dream.
