Scorpions! Night time, black light, Ortho Home Defense and a Ziploc baggie. Captured 7, killed over a dozen, all in my MIL's back yard.

Diggin' my eyes out with a rusty spoon. Got another tonight. Last one, tomorrow we're bugging out for WNY. Four days running. We might even see those fist sized tarantulas we saw in New Mexico last October running across the road late in the day.MIL is too close to MILF. Good job hunting though.
That's cool. A friend of mine had Emperor Scorpions and handled them all the time. Me, only a couple times. I wouldn't mind having one but I don't think the wife would approve lol. Those look like either bark scorpions or desert hairy.
I like scorpions, I've had several pet scorpions including two of the largest scorpions species in the world. I've framed them inside a case after they died. Had about 8 years caring for them. I'd like to get another one one day, they're badass. I used to handle mine almost everyday, took them outside to run around and they would even snuggle up and fall asleep in my hand. Most of them just died of old age at about 4 years.
